Scala Coeli red 2018 (Touriga Franca)

Alentejo Regional Wine

Scala Coeli wine (which in Latin means “Stairway to Heaven”) owes its name to the Monastery of Santa Maria Scala Coeli, commonly known as the Cartuxa Monastery, a place where the Carthusian monks lived in silence and prayer.
Produced from the best winemaking of the year, from foreign varieties to Alentejo varieties, it was produced for the first time in 2005.
