The wine tradition in the Évora region dates back to time immemorial. The Charter [Foral] that D. Manuel I bestowed on the city in 1501 bears witness to this. The Cartuxa Winery joins the taste of history to the unique art of this wine, in an edition evocative of the Charter [Foral].
This wine is produced from the Assario variety, and its youthful notes are characterised by fruity aromas and fresh flavours.
It was produced for the first time in 2002.
